Overview

The mastering suite was designed by Martin Pilchner and is considered to be the most acoustically precise room in Canada. The results of specialized electro-acoustic testing support this claim by measuring frequencies and certifying that every aspect of the sonic spectrum has been accounted for. This mastering suite is a clean sonic canvas, completely neutral – a feature you have to hear to appreciate. Add to that some of the finest audio pieces of equipment ( see our equipment page ) and throw in decades of experience…… it makes for some pretty great sounding masters.

Down the hall our "B" suite facilitates the creation of all media (parts) required. There we run off final masters and copies of mastered material for our clients to review and submit to final manufacturing. This room also boasts a Protools HD rig and numerous classic pieces from Urei, Manley, Universal Audio, Emperical Labs, Telefunken, Neuman etc and the original JVC boom box for some "real listening".

A very fine isolation booth (also designed by Pilchner) for any recording that becomes necessary is adjacent.

Because most of our clients come to us at the end of very hectic recording schedules, we have incorporated all the creature comforts of home into our client lounge areas. Help yourself to our stocked kitchen, curl up for a nap or read a magazine on our comfy couches or have a BBQ in our green area.
